Basalt

This artwork is a reflection of my honeymoon trip to Maui, Hawaii. Amidst the island’s vivid landscape, it was the striking contrast of lava rock and basalt that truly captured my imagination. The intricate textures of these volcanic formations left a lasting impression on me. I was also fascinated by the beaches, many of which were made up of either lava rock or black sand, adding to the island’s dramatic and enchanting beauty.
